Over the course of the story, the readers realize that the novel was written by Christopher himself, trying to solve the murder mystery.
4. Frankenstein

Summary: This novel tells the story of Victor Frankenstein, a scientist who creates an artifical man from pieces of corpses. However, this does not turn out to be the perfect specimen he intended it to be, but rather a hideous creature who is rejected by Victor and mankind in general. The creature escapes and Frankenstein chases the creature, ultimately leading to both of their downfall.
